Privacy Policy

The short version: Almost Life collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no third‑party services. Everything you write stays on your device and, if you choose, in your own private iCloud — reachable only by you.

Who we are

Almost Life (“the app”, “we”) is an iOS application for sealing the choices you almost made and revisiting them later. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. The app has no servers of its own, no user accounts, and no sign‑in. We do not see, receive, or store your content.

Where your content lives

  • On your device. The entries you create — titles, notes, dates, reflections — are stored locally using Apple's on‑device database (SwiftData/Core Data).
  • In your private iCloud (optional). If you enable iCloud Sync, your entries are mirrored through Apple's CloudKit to your private iCloud database, tied to your Apple ID. This keeps your data in sync across your own devices. It is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it, and it is not shared with us or anyone else.

You can turn iCloud Sync off at any time in the app under Me → Sync & Data.

Analytics, tracking & advertising

None. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no tracking technologies, and no third‑party code that transmits your data. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and do not track you across apps or websites.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device so you know when a sealed entry is ready to open. These are generated and delivered on‑device; no notification content is sent to us.

Required‑reason API disclosure

The app uses Apple's UserDefaults API solely to remember your in‑app settings (such as appearance and sync preferences) on your own device. This data never leaves your device and is not used for tracking. The app declares this in its privacy manifest as required by Apple.

Children's privacy

Almost Life does not target children and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

Your control & data deletion

  • Delete any single entry, or all entries, from within the app (Me → Data & Privacy → Delete All Data).
  • Export a readable copy of your entries at any time (sealed entries export as locked placeholders until they open).
  • Removing the app deletes its on‑device data. iCloud data can be removed in iOS Settings under your Apple ID → iCloud, or by deleting it in the app while iCloud Sync is on.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will be reflected in an app update where appropriate.

关于我们

Almost Life（中文名「差点」，下称「本应用」）是一款 iOS 应用，用来封存你「差点做出」的选择，并在未来重新开启。本政策说明本应用如何处理你的信息。

我们收集的信息

我们不收集任何个人信息。本应用没有自己的服务器，没有用户账户，也无需登录。我们看不到、也不会接收或存储你的内容。

你的内容保存在哪里

  • 在你的设备上。你创建的条目——标题、记录、日期、回看——通过 Apple 的本机数据库（SwiftData / Core Data）保存在本地。
  • 在你私人的 iCloud 中（可选）。若开启 iCloud 同步，你的条目会通过 Apple 的 CloudKit 同步到与你 Apple ID 绑定的私有 iCloud 数据库，用于在你自己的设备之间保持同步。这部分受 Apple 隐私政策 约束。我们无法访问，也不会与任何人共享。

你可以随时在「我 → 同步与数据」中关闭 iCloud 同步。

统计、追踪与广告

一概没有。本应用不含任何统计分析 SDK、广告、追踪技术，也没有会传输你数据的第三方代码。我们不使用广告标识符（IDFA），也不会跨应用或网站追踪你。

通知

若你允许通知，本应用会在你的设备上排程本地提醒，告诉你某个封存的条目可以开启了。通知在本机生成与送达，不会有任何内容发送给我们。

必要原因 API 说明

本应用仅使用 Apple 的 UserDefaults API 来在你自己的设备上记住应用内设置（如外观与同步偏好）。这些数据不会离开你的设备，也不用于追踪。本应用已按 Apple 要求在隐私清单中声明。

儿童隐私

「差点」不面向儿童，也不收集包括 13 岁以下儿童在内的任何人的数据。

你的控制与数据删除

  • 可在应用内删除任意单条或全部条目（「我 → 数据与隐私 → 删除全部数据」）。
  • 可随时导出一份可读的条目副本（封存中的条目会以锁定占位形式导出，开启前内容隐藏）。
  • 删除应用会清除其在本机的数据；iCloud 中的数据可在 iOS「设置」→ Apple ID → iCloud 中移除，或在开启 iCloud 同步时于应用内删除。

政策变更

若本政策有更新，我们会更新本页面并修改上方日期。重大变更将在适当时通过应用更新体现。
